LITIGATION

What It Is

Our litigation group’s reputation for experience, expertise and success extends beyond the borders of our state and has allowed the firm to earn the repeat business of loyal firm clients, as well as attract new clients seeking excellent results. In addition to a large number of local companies that have been loyal clients for many years, a significant number of the firm’s litigation clients are regional or national companies that have their principal places of business outside of Oklahoma. Over the past several years, typical firm litigation cases have included matters of antitrust law, class-action suits, securities litigation, shareholders’ derivative actions, protection of corporate trade secrets, enforcement of noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements, environmental litigation, defense of corporate officers and directors, oil and gas litigation, defense of large insurance companies, defense of public accounting firms, defense of employers in employment litigation, defense of hospitals and other health care professionals, contract disputes, construction disputes, trust and probate disputes, tax controversies in state and federal courts, and selected tort litigation. The litigation group also consists of an active administrative litigation practice before federal, state, and local regulatory and administrative agencies and licensing boards. Our litigation group is annually recognized as among the best in the state with our litigators named as leaders in their fields by Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers and other publications.
